Dr. Perritt is a fellowship-trained Obstetrician and Gynecologist with a comprehensive background in family planning and reproductive health.  

 

She received her undergraduate degree from Brown University and completed her medical degree at Howard University College of Medicine.  In addition to a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Pennsylvania Hospital, Dr. Perritt received her fellowship training in Family Planning and Master of Public Health at The Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health.

 

Dr. Perritt is board-certified and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Society of Family Planning.

Educator

Dr. Perritt provides training and education for clinical and non-clinical staff.

 

Topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Abortion

  • Comprehensive Contraception Counseling

  • Sexually Transmitted Infections

  • Reproductive Coercion and Intimate Partner Violence

  • Reproductive Justice and Contraceptive Access

Activist

Dr. Perritt uses her unique position as a physician activist to bring attention to issues impacting the health of individuals. She fights to advance comprehensive access to reproductive health services for all people and address inadequacies in the health system that negatively impact health outcomes and equity.

Advocate

As a front line provider of health care, Dr. Perritt knows first-hand the impact that decreased access to health services has on the lives of her patients. She is a passionate advocate for reproductive health, rights and justice and speaks frequently on these topics.  Dr. Perritt works closely with local and national reproductive health and justice organizations to advance the health of individuals and eliminate reproductive health disparities.
